Farms already are solar energy hubs, using photosynthesis. Now, as we work to reduce greenhouse emissions faster and sequester more excess carbon dioxide in soil and plants, Earthkeep Farmcommon will demonstrate how farms can be important climate change solutions.

We will expand renewable energy production (solar and anerobic digestion), demonstrate new battery storage technology and micro-grid optimization, and show how to accelerate carbon sequestration contributing to the financial stability of agriculture in Vermont.
